PendulousPlants.Com and SmallPlants.Com are owned by myself and my husband, we are plant brokers and work with 3 small, local wholesale nurseries offering unusual woody plants. In fact, many of the plants propagated by these nurseries are pendulous or dwarf, in addition to several variegated and generally 'strange' ones too.

I initially helped develop both websites and then later bought the businesses from one of these nurseries, whom I also happened to be working for at the time.  I had become intimately familiar with these great plants and shared the owner's passion for them.  We decided to offer these fun plants via mail order to get them into the gardens of those who appreciate weeping plants as much as we do.  The result is an online nursery dedicated to weeping woody plants. And…our nurseries propagate and grow nearly everything we offer!

The nurseries are located in the Southern Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina. We are generally considered USDA zone 6b. Our climate enables us to grow plants adaptable in zones 5-10.
